About the Role:
Join Barrett School LLC as an ELA HS Lead Teacher in beautiful Destin, FL! We are seeking a passionate educator to inspire high school students through engaging English Language Arts instruction and foster a love for literature and writing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with state standards.
- Facilitate engaging classroom discussions to enhance critical thinking skills.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Support students' individual learning needs and promote a positive classroom culture.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Valid teaching certification for high school English Language Arts.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficient in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Passion for literature and a commitment to student success.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
